Camera Etiquette - shooting around other photographers

First - a casual shoot, but something you want to take photos about:
1. Summarize this reading. It should take at least a paragraph (3-4 sentences). Make sure to highlight the suggestions they make.
This reading section was all about good suggestions for when your shooting and there are other photographers trying to get the same pictures you are. The writer made good and reasonable suggestions on what to do and to make sure people don't think your a rude photographer. The author also mentioned how to be polite when there are other photographs all around you.

2. Pick your favorite tip. Post it on your blog. Answer the following questions:
Favorite Suggestion: Make friends with the people around you.
     a. Why do you think this is the best suggestion?
I think this is the best suggestion because its very important to have friends instead of enemies, so if you make friends around you, y'all can come up with a system and you can work together on getting the pictures you were hoping to get.
     b. How would you deal with a person who isn't being corporative?
It would really bother me because i would be at that even for a reason... (so i could get paid) but if they weren't being cooperative, i would tell them they were being rude and fine another place to get the pictures i needed.
     c. Have you ever run into this before? If so, please explain what happened & how you dealt with it.
No i have never ran into a situation like this before.

 Second - a wedding shoot
 1. Summarize this reading. It should take at least a paragraph (3-4 sentences). Make sure to highlight the suggestions they make.
This reading is about what to do when your a guest/wedding photographer at a wedding. The guests should always be considerate of the actual photographer because he/she is there to get the best possible pictures they can. And if your the photographer you have to know that the guests want to capture every moment as well so you have to give them some time to get some pictures as well.

     a. How would you deal with a "rude" guest if you were hired to shoot a wedding?
If i had a rude guest i wound let the bride or groom know so they can talk to the guest and tell them im just trying to do my job.
     b. What if that person was the Brides mother, or someone else important, would that change how you deal with the problem?
No that would not change how i would deal with the problem because i would be trying to get those pictures for the bride/ groom.
     c. What could you do ahead of time to perhaps help with the problem?
I would tell the bride to let all of her guests know what i was there for.
     d. What could you do during to keep this issue from occurring, if you sense its starting to get out of control?
I would get the pictures i needed and give the guests some time to take pictures and then go back to getting my own pictures. And let the guests know what i was there for but tell them in a polite way.

Third - Annoying things that happen to professionals:
1. Summarize this reading. It should take at least a paragraph (3-4 sentences). Make sure to highlight the suggestions they make.
This reading is about annoying things that happen to professional photographers. Some things that photographers don't like is when people give our rude and un-polite feedback on there pictures. Another thing that annoy photographers is other photographers arrogance. One last major thing that photographers find annoying is when other photographers take up a huge amount of space with all of their equipment.

     a. Which annoying thing do you think would bother you the most?
Something that would bother me the most would be wen friends and relatives expect me to take pictures of them for free. Because i don't want t be mean and say well only if you pay me... But at the same time i defiantly don't want to do it for free.
     b. What annoying things have you encountered when out taking pictures? Describe the moment?
When im out taking pictures, some annoying things happen to me like, some people don't get out of my way when they clearly see that i have a fancy camera and im trying to gt the shot that i need but they just wont move !
     c. What would you do if a family member or friend wanted you to shoot something that you know would take a lot of time and involve a lot of work? Do you work for free?
If a family member or friend wanted me to shoot something that i knew would take a lot of time and involve a lot of work, i would tell them it could take a long time so dont be expecting it soon. And i would also tell them that it would cost some money because of how much work would be involved.
And no i would not work for free. Maybe sometimes, but only depending on the situation.

Fourth - Photo Walk
1. Summarize this reading. It should take at least a paragraph (3-4 sentences). Make sure to highlight the suggestions they make.
This reading is about the Photo Walk. The Photo Walk was created bring together photographers of all skill levels, in locations all over the world. The participants walk around their city or chosen location, photographing their environment and sharing their experiences with fellow walkers. The groups generally conclude their day by sharing a meal or a beverage, comparing the results of their walk and growing their network of friends.

2. I am considering planning a day for us to leave campus and go on a photo walk. With that in mind, answer the following questions:
    a. Where would you like to go for a photo walk? Remember it has to be close by, not like San Antonio or something, be realistic?
If we were to do a photo walk (which i would LOVE to do) I think it would be reasonable for us to go to down town Austin.
    b. Why would you like to go there (equipment, clothing, etc)?
I would like to go there because there's so many famous wall painting in down town Austin and there is so many neat things about down town Austin.
    c. What things would you need to have a good day walking and taking photos?
Things you would need to have a good day walking would defiantly be good weather ! And fun people to be around (:
    d. Would you prefer an urban or nature walk? Why?
I honesty wouldn't mind doing either of them. A nature walk would be fun because there is so many cool thing in nature, but an urban walk would also be really fun because there's so much more than just nature.
    c. Should people who are failing another class(es) be able to go?
Yes and no. Yes because its an experience they'll never have again and no because school work always comes first.
